The vultures watch, perched high in splintered trees, Muttering together in voices filled with malcontent, Overwhelmed by the empty need to feed.
Here there is nothing left, burnt out, washed out. Sand and dust on the hourglass floor, Fall out, left out, find a different route.
The vultures may be left hungry, least for another night. Here will not be my resting place,

She spins and lets the world blur Colors, shapes, textures, meaningless, And then she lets herself fall,
Just to feel the rush. Landing on what must be the ground,
Looking up at what must be the sky.
Confusion, chaos, release, Scream into the emptiness In this old forgotten meadow, tucked within the remains of a forest. Getting lost just to find yourself, let it out.
Frustration, a shrill howl. Hatred, a battle cry. Fear, a strangled wail. Emptyness, a hollow sigh.
